Serum Definition:

A serum is usually a high concentration of ingredients in a product, designed  for effective penetration into the skin.

A serum can be a product within a product-collection or a product by itself.

For example, Dr. TEMT Collagen Management Serum is part of the Collagen Management Collection and works best, if used in combination with other Collagen Management products.

Dr.TEMT Hyaluron Plus Serum  is a serum by itself and works best in combination with any other Dr.TEMT product.

Type of Serums:

A serum can have different textures. It can be e.g. a Fluid – like a milky consistency or a Gel.

Ampoules are also referred to Serums.

Should you use both, a serum and a moisturizer?

A serum provides an extra boost and helps to support the performance of the moisturizer to follow.

Skincare Routine – Step 4: SERUM

• Apply a serum after using a toner. Always use light textured skin care products first, followed by thicker products. What does that mean? when you apply an eye cream that has a rich texture, then apply the SERUM first  followed by the rich textured eye cream. When you apply a light textured eye cream or an eye serum, then apply this product first, followed by the SERUM.
• Use a serum in the morning and in the evening. For day time we recommend to use a serum with Hyaluronic Acid to boost your skin with extra hydration or if you are exposed to blue light during the day, we suggest to use the Elience Age Defense Serum which helps to prevent the skin from premature aging due to HEV light.
• For night time we recommend the Anti Aging Serum or Collagen Management Serum to provide the skin with peptides and other high dose ingredients during the night while you sleep.
• Apply 2 pumps of product with both hands by pressing the product to the face, neck and decollate or with a light massage in circular motion. Wait until absorbed  and follow with moisturizer.
